Next Monday, August 30th Masquers will have Auditions for CLUE! If you are interested in auditioning, please pick up audition forms from Mr. Moreno. You must have signed forms to audition. Auditions will start right after school on Monday. (Tu, Th,F) – V. Moreno
Students who have been assigned to Operation Restoration but complete the assignment MUST come to OR to show evidence of submission before being released to leave campus. However, students completing their assignment and are ready to submit may see Mrs. Thompson in the Main Lobby DURING LUNCH to show their work for submission and be released from OR rather than coming at 3:15. Students who FAIL to show their submission to an OR Coach or Mrs. Thompson will be counted as skipping OR and receive skipping consequences. (M, Tu,Th 8.31) – S. Thompson
Applications are now being accepted for the 21-22 ASAP Youth Ambassador Coalition cohort. An ideal Ambassador candidate is someone who wants to make a difference in their community by preventing and reducing substance misuse, gain leadership skills and experience, receive community service hours, and have fun! What is philosophy? Join us at Philosophy Club after school Friday until 4 PM in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) to find out! After an overview of the various fields within philosophy, we will brainstorm topics for this year’s discussions. New members are welcome! (F) – A. Pickering
IRC is an awesome club! Do you like debating, geography, or politics? Join International Relations Club in room LC 326 every Thursday right after school and solve real world issues with our model UN. We meet weekly from 3:10 until around 4. Snacks are provided. Join us for fun and experience with debating and analyzing world conflicts. (Tu, Th 8/26) – B. Bauman
COUNSELING INFORMATION
The Annual Military Service Academy Day will be 10am, Saturday, August 28th at UTC University Center. The event is intended to provide information about Military Academies to students who may have a desire to become a Military Officer, and to familiarize those students with the qualifications necessary for acceptance. The Academy Day event will give students a chance to interact with representatives from all of the Military Academies and ROTC Leadership.
