STUDENT INFO

 

Students who drive to school will need to have a 2021-22 car tag.  Last year’s tags will not work.  Please come by Student Services and pick up the application to get your free parking tag by next Friday, Aug. 13.  (8/6, 8/10, 8/12) – C. Rhinehart

 

The Wildcats for Change Club started an ambassador program last year, to welcome students to our school. We are currently accepting applications for 10th-12th graders who would be willing to be paired with a new student to help them feel welcome at ORHS.
9th graders, we will accept applications from your grade after Winter break.

Do you like science? Would you like to test your knowledge against others? Join Science Bowl on Tuesdays and Wednesdays right after school in LC 105.  (8/5-8/11) – S. Thomas

 

Bell schedule cards are available in the Main Office, Student Services and the Counseling Office.  These cards fit inside your badge holder for quick reference.  Be sure they go behind your ID badge and not in front of your picture. (8/5-8/12) – T. Seals

 

Many students missed either senior portrait picture day or underclassmen portrait day. The makeup day will be Thursday, October 21, all day. On this day, seniors will also have their group photo made. Further announcements will be made closer to this date. (8/9-9/13 MWF) – R. Hale

 

The ORHS Key Club will host its first meeting of the year on Thursday, August 12 at 3:15 P.M. in Mr. Schoolcraft’s room, LC224. If you are looking for ways to serve your community, the Key Club is the place to be! All current and prospective members are welcome to attend.

 

 

 

COUNSELING INFORMATION

 

The Annual Military Service Academy Day will be 10am, Saturday, August 28th at UTC University Center.  The event is intended to provide information about Military Academies to students who may have a desire to become a Military Officer, and to familiarize those students with the qualifications necessary for acceptance.  The Academy Day event will give students a chance to interact with representatives from all of the Military Academies and ROTC Leadership.  For further information, Cindy Boshears by phone: 865-576-1976 or by email: cindy.boshears@mail.house.gov
