Attention rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: Registration for school year 2021-2022 is under way. Students, please remember to bring your registration sheet with you on the day your class is scheduled to register. Rising 10th graders will register during guided study, and rising 11th and 12th graders will register during English class. (3/29-4/9 MWF) – A. Roberts
Do you like current events? Are you interested in international relations? Then come to the Oak Ridge High School Model United Nations Club, also known as IRC! Our first meeting will be Thursday, April 1 in the AGATE room (LC 327). This meeting will be a meet and greet and a basic introduction to Model UN. (3/9-3/10, 3/29-3/30) – B. Bauman
Prom Ticket Sales- Enchanted Lights, Prom 2021, will take place on May 8th in the Wildcat Arena from 7:30pm-11:30pm. Ticket Pre-orders will be sold during 5th period lunch in the Kiosk in the Wildcat Arena Lobby on April 6th-8th and April 13th-15th. The Pre-order tickets cost will be $30 for Singles and $60 for Couples. Ticket sales will take place on May 3rd-5th with the cost of $40 for Singles and $80 for couples. No tickets will be sold at the door
Prom Guests- Is your date for Prom not a current ORHS student? If so you need to fill out a Guest Application. You can find the forms in Ms. Eidam’s room LC313 or in Student Services. (T,Th – 5/7) – S. Eidam

COUNSELING INFORMATION
A representative from the New York Film Academy, New York City Campus, will be hosting a virtual visit on Thursday, April 1st during lunch. If you would like to participate in the virtual visit, notify Ms. Campbell (akcampbell@ortn.edu), in the Counseling Office and she will forward you the Zoom link. (3/12, 3/29-4/1) – A. Campbell
The Lion’s Club will be awarding four $500 scholarships to graduating ORHS Seniors. The criteria for the scholarship include grades, attendance, school and community involvement, and financial need. If you are interested in being considered for this scholarship you need to make sure you have completed the Local Scholarship Application, which can be picked up in the Counseling Office. Senior Information
Seniors: Tryouts for Graduation and Convocation speakers will occur virtually this year. In order to participate, you will need to join the Canvas course called “Graduation Speaker Tryouts 2021.” The link to join the course will be emailed to all seniors on March 8 through school email. Once you enroll in the Canvas course, you will find an “assignment” for graduation and convocation speaker tryouts. Instructions on how to participate in tryouts, as well as helpful tips and suggestions, are also included in the assignment. The deadline to upload your video is April 9th at 3:00 P.M. Prom, Senior Speeches, Honor’s Night, Convocation, Graduation ,and other celebrations are being organized for our Seniors. We need our talented, artistic, creative Seniors to design the cover of our Convocation Program. The Cover needs the following information The date of (May 26, 2021)
And the title Oak Ridge High School Convocation. The design can then be whatever you remember about your years as a Wildcat.Come by Mrs. Bauman’s room, LC 318 to see prior Convocation Programs. There is also a $50 prize for the # 1 designer. Your designs are due to Mrs. Bauman by May 10th. (3/30-4/1) – B. Bauman
