Our Spring AP exam payment collection is THIS week!!! We will be set up in the food court during lunch to accept your payment. During this time you will be able to pay off your remaining balance for any exam you have already ordered. You will also be able to order an exam for the first time for any Spring semester AP course. You will also be able to order an exam for any other AP course if you missed the order deadline in the Fall. If you missed the Fall deadline, College Board will charge an additional $40 late fee for each exam.
Exams remain $95/exam. If you are taking four or more exams, the fourth and subsequent exams are $40/exam. Research and Seminar exams are $143 each. If you are on free and reduced lunch status, exams are $15/exam.
Please make checks payable to Oak Ridge High School. Please put the student name and the exam name(s) on the Memo line to ensure that the payment is applied correctly.

COVID may have killed the Masquers Musical, but it has not killed Masquers determination to entertain you!! Masquers will showcase their talents this Saturday in our aptly named Masquers Showcase. Come watch your favorite Masquers perform their favorite Broadway hits. Masquers Showcase is Saturday, March 6 at 7pm in the Oak Ridge Auditorium. All guests will be seated socially distanced, so come early. Doors open at 6. Best part is it’s absolutely free!!!

Are you interested in singing in a Select Auditioned Choir next year? Auditions for Ensemble and a new Select SATB choir will begin on Friday of this week. A message from the Nurse’s Office: With the water fountains being closed, students are coming to the clinic for water. Students, please bring your own water bottle and use the water bottle refill stations, as coming to the clinic for water is unnecessary and can potentially expose you to illnesses. (3/4-3/5) – L. COUNSELING INFORMATION
Are you a future teacher? The Oak Ridge chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Organization for Women Educators is accepting applications for a $600 scholarship to be awarded to an Oak Ridge High School senior planning to major in education. Alpha Gamma chapter members will consider students who have completed the ORHS Scholarship Form. If you have not yet completed this form, please see Ms. Campbell in the ORHS Counseling Center. TENNESSEE FEDERATION DEMOCRATIC WOMEN (TFDW) – ANNA BELLE CLEMENT O’BRIEN SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PROGRAM – This $500 scholarship is to be used for study at an accredited institution that has granted admission to the student applicant. The student applicant must be a female high school senior residing in the state of Tennessee. Deadline to apply is March 31st, 2021. American Legion Auxiliary – Volunteer Girls State – Summer Program – The nonpartisan program is offered annually to more than 575 of Tennessee’s rising high school seniors and is centered on citizenship, teamwork, and fostering a love of God and country. Experienced volunteer staff and counselors — each one a program alumna — help guide participants, or “citizens,” through the week as they elect city, county, and state officials, engage in party politics, debate legislation, and collaborate in a host of fun team activities.
