Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Fresh off his win as the WBIR Educator of the Week for the last week in January, our very own Broadcasting teacher, Dave Kolodney, is up for the TN Lottery Educator of the Month for the whole state!  It all comes down to voting now so vote early and vote often!  You can vote once each day on each device you have throughout the month of February.  Just head over to  https://www.tnlottery.com/education-wins/educator-of-the-month  (W,F,Tu,Th)  T. CLUB INFO

The ORHS Key Club is collecting diapers, baby wipes, and teddy bears in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Oak Ridge. Diapers can be dropped off with a Key Club member or in Mr. Schoolcraft’s room, LC224. A collection box will also be set up in the office. Collected items will be distributed to TORCH in Oak Ridge for their work with homeless persons. The Oak Ridge Rotary Club Brad Sturm Essay and the College Founders Scholarship’s deadline is FRIDAY, Feb 15!   Please check the counseling webpage or counseling office for the website information. (F) – A. King

The deadline for many of the East Tennessee Foundation Scholarships is February 15th and two of the scholarships have just increased their award amounts!  Check out the Counseling Office’s Scholarship webpage for details and links to the applications – or come by the Counseling Office for information.  Don’t miss out on these excellent opportunities! The Team Investment Group of Oak Ridge has announced its Renfro Henderson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship for 2020.  The purpose of this scholarships is to help current and past Scarboro residents to advance their education beyond the high school level.  Come by the Counseling Office for details and applications.  The deadline for this scholarship is April 30^th.
