Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Jostens will return only once more this year to collect orders for graduation supplies. They will be located in the Main Lobby during lunch only on Thursday, December 5. Seniors who have not ordered should turn in their orders on this date. After December 5, orders may be mailed to Jostens, phoned in, or ordered online. The final date to place an on-time order and avoid increased prices (double) is Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Contact information follows:

NHS Tutoring: On Thursday, Sarah Hepler and Katie O’Brien are offering help with your ORHS assignments in the Counseling Center from 3:15-3:15. If you don’t come for help, Katie will have to listen to Sarah sing for a half hour.  (11/21) – A. Etheridge

CLUB INFO

Small Talk will meet in Dr. Colquitt’s room on Thursday, November 21. Please come to CS 235 right after school and prepare to stay until 3:45. (11/18, 11/19, 11/21) – R. Colquitt

The YuGi-Oh! Club will meet on Friday, November 22. Please meet in Dr. Colquitt’s room, CS 235, and prepare to stay until 6 pm. (11/19, 11/21, 11/22) – R. Colquitt

Are you interested in sharing your talents? If so see Mrs. Wagner or student council to get more information about performing at the first ever student council coffeehouse on December 6th at the Saint Mary’s youth center! Anarchy, capitalism, socialism, and communism, oh my! Join Philosophy Club after school on Friday in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) for a political philosophy discussion on economic systems. (11/21-11/22) – A. Pickering

COUNSELING INFO

ORHS has been given a limited number of complimentary tickets to the ORCBA presentation of The Nutcracker.  Performances will be in the ORHS Performing Arts Center on November 23^rd at 7:30pm and November 24^th at 2pm.  Tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis and can be picked up in the Counseling Office. SENIOR INFO

Immediately after school on Monday, November 25^th a representative from Yale will be in the College and Career Room in the Counseling Office.  There will be a short presentation and the representative will be available for questions you may have about Yale.  (11/21-11/25) – A. Campbell
