Don’t wait until basketball season to get your Student Athletic Pass. You’re still saving lots of $ and won’t have to wait in line to any regular season home athletic event this year? (This includes Volleyball, Soccer (Boys & Girls) – Basketball – Baseball – Softball & Track) . You can do that by purchasing an All-Sports Athletic Pass for ONLY $55.00. RED RIBBON WEEK Anderson County, Tennessee had 29 fatal overdoses last year. That’s twenty-nine mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters who didn’t think they would or set out to become addicted, but ended up losing their lives. As we continue Red Ribbon Week please remember to say “I AM ONE” who is not use nicotine, alcohol, or other drugs. (Tu 10.29) – T. Kelly
NHS Tutoring: Victoria Baldwin and Julie Ruiz are tutoring in the Counseling Center on Tuesday from 3:15-3:50 and would like to help you on any of your ORHS assignments as we approach mid-term. (10/29) – A. Etheridge
The Library will be closed to all teacher and student traffic on Tuesday, October 29 because of ACT testing within the library. Please use other printers and the outside drop box to return books. We will reopen on Wednesday, October 30. (10/29) – C. Milloway
Attn: students taking AP Exams in the Spring: the registration window is now open and closes November 1. You can either pay a deposit of $40 per exam or pay in full. Only exams with a deposit or payment in full as of November 1st will be ordered. If students choose to pay by deposit, the balance will be due the week of April 20th. The exams cost $94/test. If you are taking more than 3 exams, the 4th and subsequent exams will cost $40/test. If you are a student on fee-waiver the exams are $15/test. Students may drop off their payment in the front lobby before school, after school, or at lunch October 28th – November 1st.
Students who plan to take an AP Exam for a course in which they are not enrolled must see Mr. Foust during the registration window. Don’t wait until the last minute when the lines are the longest! (10/29-11/1) – C. Harvey

An admissions representative from Auburn will be in the cafeteria during lunch on Wednesday, October 30th. Stop by to learn more about what Auburn has to offer. (10/28-10/30) – A. Campbell

Seniors – be sure and check out the long list of scholarships available on the Counseling Office website. Go to the ORHS website, under Academics select School Counseling – scroll to the bottom of the page to click “Testing, Scholarship, College Summer Programs and Career Links”.
