Bonjour! Attention French students! We will have a 2nd interest meeting for the 2020 French Exchange tomorrow, October 24th, at 6:30 PM in Madame Barry’s room CS 307. Bring a parent/guardian and come find out about this exciting opportunity! Merci! (W) – E. Barry

ACT Cram Sessions: Seniors take the ACT again on October 29. Why not do some last-minute cramming on Wednesday after school? For Session 1, come to the Amphitheatre at 2:00 if you want to learn the big-money English items (command semi-colon rules), to LC 326 for the big-money math formulas and problems, or to LC 327 for big-money science graphs and data interpretation. These sessions only last for 45 minutes. At 3:00, we will offer a test-taking strategies session in the Amphitheatre covering strategy for all four subject area tests. This should last for only about 30 minutes. These sessions are FREE for all ORHS students and will help you get the big money!

RED RIBBON WEEK – Today is the first day of the Red Ribbon Rivalry!  Red Ribbon Week is a national week of awareness and education for substance misuse and prevention.  ASAP of Anderson and the ASAP Youth Ambassador Coalition are competing against Clinton and Oak Ridge High Schools to win the Red Ribbon Rivalry.  You can help by purchasing a red ribbon for $1 this Friday during lunch and receive a card for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich or nuggets. COUNSELING INFO

A recruiter from the US Army will be in the cafeteria, during lunch, on Wednesday, October 23rd. (W) A. Campbell

An admissions representative from the University of Alabama will be in the counseling office on Thursday, October 24^th right after school. Stop by if you would like to learn more about what UAB has to offer. (10/21-10/24) – A. Campbell
