ATHLETICS THIS WEEK
The City is hosting weekly volleyball instruction on Tuesdays from 4-5:00 pm in the Oak Ridge Civic Center Gym. These coed clinics will run into December and provide basic skills training for serving and passing a volleyball. The goal is to help players new to the game enjoy their first league experience if they join a team in the City’s Recreation and Parks Department 2020 Winter Volleyball League. The league gives high school players a chance to compete in their off season. Many participants are not on their high school teams, but are novice players entering the coed competition for the first time. You can register online with the Recreation and Parks Department or call for more information at 425-3450. (8/19) – D. Bowman
