Welcome Back!
STARTING OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT!
All students are required to wear their ORHS badge visibly on their person. Badges were stored in your laptop front pocket over the summer. Juniors who have not received a new badge should check with Mrs. Rhinehart in Student Services. Freshman who did not attend Freshman Orientation should also report to Student Services. (M-F) – Admin
Do you drive to school? If so, you are reminded that all cars must have a parking tag displayed. Tags can be purchased in Student Services. Also, there is NO PARKING in the band practice area of the parking lot located on the Oak Ridge Turnpike. This area is clearly marked with yellow line closest to the Turnpike. (M-F) – Admin
Bus routes are posted in the Bus Loop lobby. If you ride a bus, make sure you check the list before the end of the day today.
SAY CHEESE – Students will have their pictures taken this Wednesday, July 31, during their English classes. Photo packages will be available for purchase. These pictures will be included in the 75th edition of the Oak Log, ORHS yearbook. Pictures will also be used for badge pictures as needed. (M-W) – Administration. Seniors – if you missed your Senior Photo shoot on Friday, listen to tomorrow’s announcements as to when you can have your Senior Pics taken. (M) – Admin
Masquers is back for another exciting season. It will be a “LITTLE” year. Why? Our fall play will be the classic, “LITTLE Women” and our spring musical, is the Disney classic, “ The LITTLE Mermaid.” Want to learn more about how you can get involved in Masquers? Come to our introductory meeting next Monday, August 5th from 3:15-4:30 in the auditorium. LAPTOP DISTRIBUTION INFO
Freshman will begin receiving their laptops during Guided Studies on Tuesday per a schedule sent to teachers.
Upper Classmen who did not pick up their device last week may come during lunch or after school on Tuesday and Wednesday. Some upper classmen Guided Study classes are scheduled for Thursday and Friday; however, we encourage 10 – 12th graders to pick it up during the specified lunch and after school times.
