ORHS Calculators that have been rented for this year will be collected on the following dates during your Math class: Seniors, Monday May 20th , All others on Tuesday, May 28th and Wednesday, 29th.
Calculators should be returned in clean, working condition. Students who have lost or broken calculators will be charged. (F) – J. Zimprich

Students being inducted into La Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica should arrive to the amphitheater by 6:00 on Tuesday, May 14 to prepare for the ceremony. Please dress appropriately. SERVICE HOURS & TN PROMISE VOLUNTEER HOURS AVAILABLE
Seniors still needing TN Promise community service hours before July 1st: Linden’s Lions Pride Team will be hosting School Clean Up Days this coming Saturday, May 11th and again on Saturday, May 25th from7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. They will also host this on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of June (8th and 22nd)
No need to sign up, simply SHOW UP! Water and hand sanitizer provided but bring a rake, shovel and/or broom and complete your hours for TN Promise and help Linden Elementary look GREAT in the process!

SERVICE HOURS OPPORTUNITY!!! SECRET CITY FESTIVAL The 2019 Oak Ridge Secret City Festival is looking for volunteers who need to fulfill Community Service hours. TN Promise students can earn 4.0 hours of service at the Department of Public Works Open House. You would be helping set up for the event and then working various booths during the Open House. You will need to report to Tasha Pitsenbarger at the Central Services Complex (100 Woodbury Ave.) on Thursday, May 23 at 4:00pm and should be out of there by 8:00pm. Student Council is offering a $2000 scholarship to one senior graduation this May. Student Council is now accepting applications for Seniors who have positively contributed to Oak Ridge High School and the Oak Ridge Community. Applications are outside the door of LC 331, Mrs. Wagner’s room and are due no later than Friday May 17th. (Tu, W, Th) – A. Wagner
