STUDENT INFO

Again, free NHS tutoring will be available despite testing on Thursday. Come see our president, Sophie Hitson, and Audrey Rodriguez in the Counseling Center from 3:15 to 3:50.  (4/24) – K. Senter

Students who need a calculator to use Thursday, 4/25 for the Tn Ready Math exam will be able to check those out in front of the Amphitheater Thursday morning between 7:30 am and  7:45 am.  They will return them to their math teacher later that day when they are in their math class. PROM INFO

Tickets to Prom 2019, Living Behind the Mask: a Met Gala, will be on sale April 22nd -25th  during 5th period at the price of $40 for singles and $80 for couples. Tickets WILL NOT be sold Friday April 26th or Saturday April 27th.  All tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE.

If your date is not a current ORHS student, you must complete a Guest Application form found in Student Affairs or with Ms. Eidam in LC 313.  All forms must be completed and turned in with a copy of the guest’s ID to Student Services by April 24th.

CLUB INFO

Book Club meets this Friday, April 26 during 5 A/B in the library.  Come for lunch and interesting conversation! (4/23, 4/25, 4/26) – C. Milloway

COUNSELING INFO

The deadline to register for the Saturday, June 8^th ACT is Friday, May 3^rd…less than two weeks away.

If you receive free/reduced lunch, you may be eligible for an ACT fee waiver to cover the cost of the test.

Have you started thinking about college? For students who want to serve their country in the military AND get a tuition-free first class education, a U.S. Service Academy may be the right fit. Academy graduates receive a bachelor’s degree in their field of study and become commissioned Officers in their respective branch of service. Think you’ve got what it takes? Learn more at Congressman Chuck Fleischmann’s 2018 Academy Day on Saturday, April 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga University Center. House Method is opening the second annual House Method scholarship, which awards $1,000 toward the education of a student committed to bettering our lives in our homes. Roane State in Oak Ridge is hosting an Open House for high school seniors who may be interested in majoring in PreK-12 Education.
