PROM INFO
Tickets to Prom 2019, Living Behind the Mask: a Met Gala, will be on Pre-Order April 3rd -5th in the Arena Kiosk during 5th period at the pre-order cost of $30 for singles and $60 for couples. Tickets will be on sale April 22nd -25th during 5th period at the price of $40 for singles and $80 for couples. Tickets WILL NOT be sold Friday April 26th or Saturday April 27th. All tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE.
If your date is not a current ORHS student you must complete a Guest Application form found in Student Affairs or with Ms. Eidam in LC 313. All forms must be completed and turned in with a copy of the guest’s ID to Student Services by April 24th. (Th, Th) S. Eidam

Hey Anime Fans! Don’t forget we meet every week on Mondays now, still in LC 228 from 3:15 to 4:00 PM. Join us this coming Monday, April 22nd, and help us decide which anime we should watch next! All suggestions will be heard, and if you can’t make it this Monday for any reason, feel free to drop off your suggestion with Ms. Lintz in LC 228 prior to the meeting. Hope to see everyone there! The Youth Advisory Board is accepting applications for the next year. The term of office begins on August 1st, 2019. Participation on the City of Oak Ridge YAB requires attendance at bi-monthly meetings on Wednesday afternoons and also at special events throughout the year. All interested students are encouraged to pick up an application in the Guidance Offices at JMS and RMS, the Student Affairs Office at ORHS, or at the Front Desk of the Civic Center. Application requirements include being an Oak Ridge resident and a student that is entering 8th-12th grade. Applications will be due by May 17, 2019 to the locations listed above. Attention Seniors! There is a paid summer internship at UT. This runs from 8am-1pm for 4 weeks in June. There you will learn about STEM teaching and get a chance to teach and learn under guidance of UT faculty members. Student Council is offering a $2000 scholarship to a senior in the class of 2019. Applicants should have made a positive impact on their community, shown exceptional leadership, and contributed to the student body in their four years at ORHS! COUNSELING INFO
Erin Fitch, the regional representative for Camp Invention in Tennessee has volunteer opportunity available for high school students needing service hours in the summer of 2019. They are running a program at St. Mary’s Catholic School and are in need of high school student volunteers. Kristin Barron is the camp director this year and is looking for any student interested in mentoring elementary aged students. Below are the program details.

- Rising 10-12 graders (based on next school year)
- Looking for students who would be great role models for elementary school aged students.
