Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

The Oak Ridge Civic Ballet Association presents Swan Lake and Peter and the Wolf on Saturday, April 13th at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m.  The cost is $15/adults, $10/seniors, $5/students.  The Counseling Department has a very limited quantity of free tickets if you are interested in attending, see Ms. Wendt. Attention seniors – if you have 10 or more community service hours for the current school year, please turn your form in to the counselor’s office by Friday, April 12th. (M,W,F 4.12) L. Wendt

 

If you have not ordered a cap & gown set, please call Jostens at 423-787-0025 to place an order. Height and weight will be needed. Orders may also be placed online at https://www.jostens.com/. The official cap & gown set are required for Convocation and Graduation. Extra tassels ($10 each) and announcements ($1.25 each) are available from Mrs. Ledden in CS347. Have you started thinking about college? For students who want to serve their country in the military AND get a tuition-free first class education, a U.S. Service Academy may be the right fit. Academy graduates receive a bachelor’s degree in their field of study and become commissioned Officers in their respective branch of service. Think you’ve got what it takes? Learn more at Congressman Chuck Fleischmann’s 2019 Academy Day on Saturday, April 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga University Center. House Method is opening the second annual House Method scholarship, which awards $1,000 toward the education of a student committed to bettering our lives in our homes.
