Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Students who are registering for Business Academy Co-op and/or the Virtual Enterprise class for 2019-2020, please mark your calendars now to attend the mandatory meeting. You can choose to attend the meeting on either Tuesday, March 5, or Thursday, March 7. (1/25, 1/29) – T. Ledden

Winter Formal tickets are on sale! Winter Formal will be held from 7-10pm on February 2nd, and ticket sales are during lunch at the top of the cafeteria and in the arena kiosk. All tickets are $15. These locations will also hold opportunities to vote for Snow Court candidates via donations. Every penny helps! All proceeds from the event will be donated to Second Harvest.  (1/25-1/29) – A. CLUB INFO

The Interact Club will meet Monday, January 28 after school in the amphitheater until 4pm.  We will be working on our Valentine’s Day project! Bring your creativity!  (1/24-1/28) – A. King

Come ski or snowboard with us on Saturday, February 2nd at Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia.  We will leave at 5:30 am and return by 11pm.  If you have never tried to ski or snowboard this is a great place to learn.  See Ms. Sobek or Ms. Stevens for permission forms.  (1/25-1/25) – D. Sobek

Philosophy Club will not meet this Friday. Ethics Bowl team members are encouraged to coordinate with their teammates and prepare. We will meet next week at the regular time. (1/24-1/25) – A. Pickering

COUNSELING INFO

The Anderson County Democratic Women’s Scholarship is offering a $500 award to a female student. If you would like to be considered for this scholarship, please attach a paragraph statement to your local scholarship form that states why you think you would be a good candidate for this scholarship. Please turn this to Mrs. Morris in the Counseling Office by March 1st, 2019. Stop by the Counseling Office if you have any questions.  (11/16-3/01 F) – A. Morris
