Attention juniors and seniors:

Would you have liked to participate in work-based learning this year, but mistakes in the past caused you to be too far behind on credits to do so during school?  Would you benefit from work place experience supported by a job coach and a personal mentor?  Do you like giving back to your community?  If so, check out Career Pathways.  This program places students like you in a paying after-school job at a non-profit organization in our community for a 9-week period.  You could earn up to $900, and there is opportunity to extend your job placement into subsequent grading periods.  There are even scholarship opportunities for employees upon high school graduation.  Applicants must be available to work afterschool, some weekends, and over spring break starting January 22nd.  Applications are available in Student Services and are due back by Friday, December 21st.  For more information, contact Ms. Roberts.(F- Tu 12.18) A Roberts
