Please do not park on the yellow lined “field” on the food court/front of school parking lot. It is located on the side closest to the turnpike. This is the WildBand practice field on campus. Thanks!  – M. Hughey (M,W,F)

Do you got great ideas for the Superintendent of our school?  Come and pick up an application to serve on the Superintendent’s Student Council for the 2018-2019 School .   It is open for anyone from grades 9-12th.  The Council meets once a month,  usually on the third Thursday of that month from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm at School Administration Building conference room.  Remember Attendance is a must for this position.   The 1st meeting will be Thursday October, 18th.   Applications are due no later than September 18th at 3:30 pm. (8.24  8/29)  C. Wilson

English Language Learner Friends (ELLF) will resume on Tuesday at Willow Brook Elementary School. If you have been involved in this program or may be interested in tutoring students, you should report for a training and informational meeting that will take place at Willow Brook Elementary School from 3:30 until 4:45 on Tuesday, August 28. Tina Marascia will conduct the training meeting. If you have any questions or need more information, please see Mrs. Ferguson in room CS 301. (8.28) – L. Ferguson

Like reading and talking about books?  Like reading and snacking?  Like talking and snacking? Me too!  Come to a book club meeting in the library after school on Tuesday, 8/28.  Come to talk about what you’d like to do in book club this year and help decide on the best meeting day and time. (8.28)  C. Milloway

Attention CLASS OF 2020:

Do you want to leave your mark on ORHS?  Do you want to leave Wildcat nation better than we found it in 2016?  Mrs. Thompson is forming a Principal’s Advisory Team of students from the class of 2020 to meet with her once a month to problem solve challenges facing our school.  If you would like to be a part of this team and have lunch together once a month having honest dialogue, please fill out a the form in your Skyward account or the Google form in your email.  (8/20-8/24) – S. Thompson

Want to learn how to create and edit your own digital music?  Come by the library and ask how! (8/20, 8/24, 8/27) – C. Milloway

Super exciting news!  Your library now has two black and white printers and two color printers.  Two important things to remember:  to print in color, you MUST choose SECURE_PRINT_COLOR.  Also, once you scan your badge at a reader, the print job is gone, even if it doesn’t print.  So if you scan your badge at a printer that isn’t printing for some reason, like if it is out of paper, you’ll need to print it again before scanning your badge at a printer that is working.  (8/20, 8/22, 8/24) – C. Milloway

Come to the Auto Tech room in G-Building on Thursday, August 30, from 3:30-5:00, and learn all this and more from ORHS’s Mr. Ladue. All ORHS seniors are welcome.
