Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Summer School registration packets are now available. Students, you can find them in the main office, student services or in the Counseling office.

Yearbooks will be on sale only through May 29 (Tuesday) from Mrs. Byrd in CS328, $70 Cash only please.  After the end of the school day on Tuesday, May 29th, yearbooks will no longer be for sale. (5/22-5/29) – R. Byrd

All medications need to be picked up from the clinic by Wednesday, May 30th. These medications must be picked up by a parent or guardian, they will not be given to a student. Any medications that have not been picked up from the clinic will be disposed. (M,W,F) – L. Gupton

The library will be closed to students beginning Tuesday, May 29 for laptop collection.  This includes before school, after school and during lunch. (5/25, 5/29) – C. Milloway

COUNSELING INFO

Do you need community service hours?  Volunteers are needed to pass out voter registration fliers in the west end of Oak Ridge during the weekend of May 26-27.  This will last for one to two hours.  Regardless of your political affiliations, you can earn community service hours by encouraging others to register to vote.  If interested, contact Ann Mostoller at amostoller@msw-law.com. Peg Marrs Memorial Scholarship – This scholarship is given in the memory of Peg Marrs, a former ORHS mathematics chair, who loved mathematics and encouraged her students to excel in the subject. The endowment is $400 and intended for students who will be in a math-related major. If you are interested in applying, applications may be found in Ms. Mullins room (CS231). Please only stop by to pick up the applications before or after school.  (5/21, 5/23, 5/25) – A. Morris

Students that wish to register for Dual Enrollment through Roane State need to turn their Roane State packets to Mrs. Rowland in the Counseling Office by the end of the day, Friday May 25th.  (5/24-5/25) – A. Morris
