Dance Cats tryouts will be held on Friday April 20th. The City of Oak Ridge is currently accepting applications for board members of the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) for the 2018-2019 school year. Sixteen applicants will be confirmed and appointed by City Council to serve a one-year term of office that commences on August 1, 2018. To be considered, applicants must be residents of Oak Ridge and entering grade levels 8th through 12th. Participation on the YAB requires attendance at bi-monthly meetings on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m., as well as at special events that are held throughout the year. All interested students are encouraged to fill out the on-line application at https://form.jotform.com/80926181025150 or the paper copy found in Student Services or at the Civic Center. The TN Promise mandatory meeting will be on Thursday, April 5th at 5:30 p.m. in the Wildcat Arena. Please arrive early to your to ensure adequate time to sign in. IF YOU MISS THE TN PROMISE MANDATORY MEETING, YOU MUST ADHERE TO THE POLICY DETAILED IN THE HANDBOOK AND ON THE WEBPAGE OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SCHOLARSHIP.
