Intersession forms are now available in the Main Office, Student Services and the Counseling Office. These forms are due back in the Main Office no later Friday, March 9th before noon. Intersession includes Grade Recovery for Terms 2 & 3 and ACT Prep course. (3/5-3/9) – B. Estep
Sign up this week to compete in the 2018 USA Chemistry Olympiad in LC-211. The local exam will be held on Tuesday, March 27th during 2nd,3rd and 4th periods in LC-211. The top two from this local competition will go on to compete in the National Exam on April 20th at UTK. See Mrs. Whitaker for questions. (3/7-3/9) – J. Whitaker
Student council challenges you to be a positive leader in our school community. Today’s goal is to maintain a positive attitude in a negative situation. If you meet this goal, go by the library to write how you met it.(3/8) – H. Haynes
Any student who has participated in the gifted program at Oak Ridge Schools is invited to participate in a survey for a new mentor program at Oak Ridge Schools. Some students have already participated in this survey, but if you have not, please go to www.tinyurl.com/orhsmentor to take the survey online, or pick up a paper version of the survey in the guidance office, from Mrs. Hondorf, or Mr. Senter. CLUB & ORGANIZATION INFO
Are you looking for an exciting and unique club sport? Come join the Oak Ridge Ultimate Frisbee Club! The team practices Tuesdays and Thursdays at Elm Grove Park. Practice tonight and Thursday will be from 4:00-6:00 but ordinarily practices are from 5-7. Bring plenty of water and cleats if you have them. Seniors: mark your calendars! Graduation supplies will be delivered on Thursday, April 5, during lunch. You may pick up your supplies in room CS347 (Mrs. Ledden’s classroom). However, you will only be able to pick up your supplies if your balance owed is paid in full. You may bring payment on that day or pay Jostens before April 5.
