Y-12 is hosting its annual “Introduce a Girl to Engineering” event on February 22nd, and all ORHS girls are welcome to attend. This free field trip is a great opportunity for our young women to hear from and talk with women in the STEM fields. There will be demonstrations and booths set-up for every STEM field imaginable. We will depart that morning and return to school in time for 6th period.
If you would like to attend, please see your math or science teacher for a permission form. All forms are due to Student Services by the end of school on Friday, February 9th. There are a limited number of seats, so sign up quickly!
