Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

We are excited to announce that Oak Ridge High School will be visited by an external review team from AdvancED on December 14^th and 15^th.  This two day process will focus on 11 STEM standards as the school is seeking to receive certification as a STEM school. If we receive this certification, we will be one of the first, if not the first, public high school in the United States to achieve this as an entire school rather than a program.  We are extremely excited for this visit as all other schools in the district have already navigated this process.  If certified, Oak Ridge Schools will be the first district in the state of Tennessee to have all schools STEM certified by AdvancED. (12/11-12/14) – S.  CLUB & ORGANIZATION INFO

What is sweet and a little twisted?……..Candy Canes!! Come dashing down to the cafeteria before school and at lunch or to the gym lobby during lunch from Thursday, December 14 through the Monday, December 18 to buy your friends a one dollar candy cane!! Please make sure to know your friends homeroom. (12/13) – E. Hondorf

Thomas Cox will be the guest at this week’s FCA on Friday at 7am at Providence House.  All are welcome to come sing Christmas songs and have breakfast. (12/13-12/14) – R. Byrd

Interact Club will have their monthly meeting in the College & Career Room Monday, December 18 from 3:15-4:15.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone! (12/13, 12/15, 12/18) – A. King

Finish the semester strong with free NHS tutoring from J. J. Valencia and Natalie Kraeske on Thursday in the Counseling Center from 3:15 t0 3:50. (12/13-12/14) – K. Senter
