Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

As the weather is getting colder and students are looking for warm clothing items to wear, you are increasingly choosing to come to school in warm, fuzzy pajamas and even house slippers. The handbook states on page 15, “Clothing that resembles sleepwear such as lounging pants, or other lounging items – including house shoes …. is prohibited. Students choosing to disobey this policy will receive a disciplinary referral and be required to change clothes. (12/6-12/12) – S. Thompson

Musical Audition are next week:   December 11 and 12. If you are interested in auditioning for the timeless musical, The Music Man, go to the Masquers Information Board outside Mr. Moreno’s classroom LC 215.  There you will find information for what you will need to prepare for the audition.  Feel free to talk to Mr. Moreno or Mr. Fowler if you have any questions.  (12/4-12/6) – V. National Honor Society is again staffing the free tutoring with three students to help you here at the end of the term. Come to the Counselling Center on Friday from 3:15-3:50 to see Megan McEahern, Lauren Douglas, and Jared Galloway. (12/6-12/7) – K. Senter

Stop by the Counseling Office to pick up an information packet regarding the 2017-18 Xi State Essay Contest. Prizes range from $100-$300. Deadline to submit you essay is December 8th, 2017. (11/14-12/07 W,F) – A. Morris

An admissions representative from Maryville College will be meeting with students in the Counseling Office on Thursday, December 7th during lunch and after school. Please plan to attend either session if you would like more information about attending Maryville College. (12/6-12/7) – A. Morris

CLUB & ORGANIZATION INFO

Hallo! Und Guten Tag! Do you like German? Do you want to learn more and hang out with other students interested in German? Then come to German Club also known as “Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft”.
