Do you like money and fame? Do you like to write poetry? Enter the Branching Out poetry contest! You can submit up to three poems before 1:50 on Wednesday, November 29. There are two categories, Freshman-Sophomore and Junior-Senior; in each category, the first place winner will receive $25, second place will receive $15, and third place will receive $10. Order a yearbook through Mrs. Byrd—via cash or check only—on that day, and get a yearbook for only $50, the lowest price of the year. Yearbooks will go up to $75 after December 31, so buying now saves you $25! Remember, you can only buy one for $50 on Cyber Monday through Mrs. Byrd. COUNSELING INFO
The National Youth Science Camp is a residential science education program for young STEM enthusiasts the summer after they graduate from high school. Students from around the country are challenged academically in exciting lectures and hands-on studies, and have voluntary opportunities to participate in an outdoor adventure program, gain a new and deep appreciation for the great outdoors, and establish friendships that last a lifetime.
