STUDENT INFO

The review are in and “Dearly Departed” is a hit!  You missed opening night but all is not lost.  There will be two more shows: tomorrow at 7 and Sunday at 2.  Tickets will be sold at the door for $7.  Don’t miss this this hilarious show!! (11/10) – V. Moreno

Craving something sweet? Come find one of our senior steering members around school or in the main lobby and the bus loop in between classes. They will be selling a large variety of your favorite candy ranging from Hershey bars to gummy worms, all for $1.50 each. Come satisfy your sweet tooth before sales are over. (M,W,F 11/1-11/13) – E. A donor has come forward to pay for the first 200 student tickets for Friday’s game!  THE CATCH….you must be at the Walk of Champions at 530 to great team as they get off the bus!  Stay and tailgate and get ready to cheer the Wildcats to victory in Round 2 against the West High Rebels! Like to read?  Love to talk?  Like to snack?  Then the brand new ORHS book club is the place for you!  Come to our first organizational meeting in the library after school on Monday, November 13.  If you’d like to be a part of the Club but can’t make the meeting, please stop by the library and talk to Mrs. Milloway. Interested in practicing for a math test unlike any other?  The NACLO exam is coming in January.  If you are interested in signing up for this computational linguistics exam, or if you would like to come and practice some very different math challenge problems, join us on Friday after school in Mrs. Mullins’ room, CS231 right after school.  Also, all math club members please attend as we prepare for our upcoming fundraising event as well.  A little planning, an little math fun…a great Friday afternoon! Join Philosophy Club today after school in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) for a special guest speaker and discussion. Scott Molony, Theology Professor at Ateno de Manila University in the Philippines and ORHS graduate, will be joining us to discuss current scholarship on the inclusion of traditionally excluded groups within religions.
