Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Due to an increase in enrollment, bus routes have been changed.  New routes have been posted by the bus loop doors in addition to being available on the Oak Ridge Schools website under “Transportation”.  These changes will take affect Monday, so please be aware of the change in your bus information.  (8/14-8/16) – A. TECHNOLOGY INFO

If you do not have reliable internet at your home, and would be interested in a Sprint Hot Spot device, please see Mrs. Harvey in the main office as soon as possible. Students who have already signed up for a device, please turn in your consent form later than tomorrow, August 15th. If you still need a form, they can be picked up in the main office. CLUB & ORGANIZATION INFO

Hallo! Und Guten Tag! Do you like German? Do you want to learn more and hang out with other students interested in German? Then come to German Club! Our next meeting is Monday, August 14th in room CS 304 at 3:15. We are going to discuss fundraising options for our Student Exchange program to Stadthagen next June and will set up our agenda for this years German Club! Auf Wiedersehen! (8/10, 8/11, 8/14) – S. The first meeting of the Senior Steering Committee for the class of 2018 will be held Wednesday, August 16th during 5th period. All meetings will be in Mrs. Hondorf’s room, LC210 and will start promptly at the beginning of 5th period. If you applied for Senior Steering check the board outside Mrs. Hondorf and Mrs. Sobek’s rooms to see if you were selected. Please join us for an informational meeting Monday, August 28 from 3:10-4:00 in the college and career room! The purpose of the ORHS Interact Club is to offer an opportunity for the personal development of high school students through involvement in a service organization.  This positive influence will afford young people a way to build their knowledge and skills with respect to leadership, teamwork and community service.  The club also addresses the physical and social needs of their school and community and promotes better relations between people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. King in the counseling office.
