A small wad of money was found by an honest ORHS student at the top of the stairs near Mr. Senter’s room, LC330. The student turned the cash over to Mr. Senter, and if it is yours, identify the total amount and the types of bills in the wad of cash. Otherwise, Mr. Senter will give the money back to the finder by Monday, May 22nd. (5/18-5/19) – K. Senter

We are excited to announce the winner of the $100 Visa Gift Card at ORHS is Logan Williams. ASAP of Anderson County sponsored this activity to bring awareness to safe & responsible driving. The activity was to encourage regular conversations between parents and students regarding safety, practicing driving together, and leading by example. These steps go a long way in ensuring teens makes smart decisions when they get behind the wheel. For your own copy of the parent-teen agreement created by the CDC, please go to https://www.cdc.gov/parentsarethekey/agreement/ to print off a copy. All seniors that have rented a calculator from the math department should return those during your math class on Thursday, May 18. Please bring them to the math work room at the beginning of your class. Remember, all outstanding fees, calculators, etc. must be taken care of in order to graduate. (M-Th) – J. Zimprich

The “Doc Combs” Memorial Scholarship applications are ready for review. Common scholarship form must be on file in the Guidance Office. This $1,000. scholarship is awarded annually in memory of former Oak Ridge High School Band Director Mr. Doc Combs. Deadline is 5.17 (Th) – T. Seals
On Wednesday, May 31st at 9:00 am, we would like to invite the Graduating Seniors to come and take a final walk down the halls of Woodland. The teachers and retired teachers that taught them throughout Woodland will be there to congratulate them!!!!! A small reception will take place at the end of the walk for graduates and former teachers. The reception is in room 42 and 43 here at Woodland.
