STUDENT INFO

Attention all students registered to take an AP Exam in May. You must attend a pre-administration session prior to testing. These sessions will be held before school at 7:15, during 5a lunch, and immediately after school at 3:15 on Monday, April 10, Tuesday, April 11, and Thursday, April 13 – Before and after school only. You only have to attend one session regardless of how many exams you intend to take. Don’t Trash Your Cash! Play Trashketball at the Wildcat Credit Union for a chance to win a $100 gift card.

Simply open a new account or make a transaction of at least $1. Take three shots from the free throw line. For each shot made, you will be entered in a drawing to win the $100 gift card grand prize or one of three second prizes of $10 each. Come be a part of the award winning ORHS Band Color Guard and perform with the WildBand at football games and competitions. No experience necessary. Performing Arts and Wellness C credits are earned for this audition only high school class. Clinic starts on Tuesday, April 11th, from 4:00 – 6:30 pm in the Band Room. Are you a current Junior that would like to be nominated as a Wofford Scholar? Wofford announces their 69th annual Wofford Scholars Program. Qualified candidates are eligible to compete for scholarships ranging from $3,000 per year up to full scholarship, which is valued at approximately $45,000 per year. SENIOR INFO

Seniors: Each year, members of the Senior Class speak at Convocation and Commencement. Tryouts for these Senior Speeches are held on one day.  Make-ups are not available. This year, tryouts will be held on Thursday, April 20, at 3:15 in CS336. If you think you may be interested in trying out, see Ms. Sasser in CS336 for additional information. Seniors interested in showing their work in the Senior Art show must attend a mandatory meeting in VA102 immediately after school Thursday. We will decide on title, discuss dates and possibilities of themes. Any conflicts must be discussed with Ms. Wakefield. (4/4-4/5) – A. Wakefield

PROM INFO

Did you somehow miss the Prom ticket pre-sales the week before Spring Break?  Prom Board is offering a quick 2 day pre-sale Thursday April 6^th and Friday April 7^th for the same low price of $30 for singles and $60 for couples. If you miss this sale you will have to purchase your tickets the week of Prom when the prices increase to $40 and $80. (F 4/7)

Did you ask your date to prom in a fun and creative way? Would you like a chance to win a free pair of tickets?  Send pictures or video of your Promposal with a description of your efforts to Ms. Eidam at seidam@ortn.edu or in LC313 by April 10^th. (W 4/5 & Tu 4/11)

Remember that if your prom date is not a current student at ORHS, then you need to pick up a Guest Application form from Student Services or Ms. Eidam in LC 313.
