Thanks to our talented Ms. Dill, our second grade students treated the Glenwood community to a fabulous performance of How to Train Your Reindeer (to fly). We got to watch some very talented speakers, sweet singing voices, AND we learned how reindeer fly!
Something new this year for our Kindergarten students is the opportunity to participate in STEM activities before school starts in the morning. It has become a very popular part of their morning routine. A HUGE thank you to Mrs. McCallen and Mrs. Wallen for providing the activities and guidance for our youngest Glenwood Cubs!
Once again, Glenwood students created gingerbread houses for the World’s Largest Stem Activity Day. The gingerbread houses were displayed at Santa Night. Glenwood students spent a fun-filled day at Turtle Park awaiting the arrivial of the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse. As they waited the main event, they completed several STEM activities, had a picnic snack, and danced to a DJ! Everyone had a wonderful time and were amazed by this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
