Counseling Center

Hello! My name is Amber Ashworth, and I am the School Counselor at Glenwood Elementary. I have been with Oak Ridge Schools at Glenwood since 2017. I started my career as a School Counselor in 2009. I have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee, a Master’s degree in counseling from Tennessee Tech University, and I am currently enrolled in the Ed.S program at Tennessee Tech University for Instructional Leadership. School counselors work as part of a team, collaborating with teachers, staff members, students, parents, and community members to promote academic and social development for all students.
