Dolly, and Usher, and Peyton Manning, OH MY!!! The 1st grade students did an amazing job bringing the state of Tennessee to life during their museum project. The students wore costumes to highlight their topic or famous Tennessean, had to learn three simple facts about their topic, and have a poster to support it. The following classrooms represented these subjects:
- Mrs. Boruff – Famous Tennesseans
- Mrs. Blair – Three Grand Divisions of Tennessee
- Mrs. Sizesmore – Famous Historical Figures
- Mrs. Fitch – Cherokee Tribe
- Mrs. Lanfair – State Symbols
A tribute to Tennessee wouldn’t be complete without the Tennessee Waltz and Rocky Top. Watch the videos below to see some of our talented Glenwood kids, and keep scrolling to check out the Living Museum Gallery.
